Our owner and lead design & architectural planner are both Rutgers University Landscape Architecture graduates. Our skilled field employees have over 40 years cumulative mason related experience & landscape installation experience along with continued training through extended learning and other programs.
A meeting will be arranged at the property to collect ideas, site measurements, photos of the property, and a sample portfolio will be presented. Think brainstorming!
Our project estimator will create a detailed quote and proposal that will make you aware of the project details and provide a breakdown of the project cost.
Once confirmed we are on track for budgeting, we will collect out design fee and our in house landscape designer will create a design concept plan and renderings for you to better understand & visualize the project and design.
This non-refundable design fee will be credited toward your project if you decide to move forward with the installation.
Proposal acceptance requires a formal contract signing & deposit to solidify project scheduling. Our office will seek all necessary HOA approvals, engineer/architectural plans & township permits.
A meeting will be arranged at the Techo Bloc paver display to review and select paver styles, colors & borders. If necessary we will schedule a meeting at the plant nursery to review plant materials.
Site preparation including irrigation, electrical, and plumbing preparation takes place 1-2 weeks prior to project installation. Upon completion of township pre-inspections the project can officially begin.
Paver and plant materials will be delivered towards the start of the project. Our crews will arrive daily and will have a foreman on site at all times.
Our project designer and company owner will make daily site visits to monitor the progress of the project and ensure the design vision is on track.
Once completed we will do a final walk through of the finished project. Any required final inspections will be scheduled & then the project is ready to be showcased!
The design process will begin with us sending a proposal that details the process, timeline and what you can expect from us for your specific project. At the time of acceptance we will also take a deposit to solidify your design project.
An initial consultation will take place with one of our designers to discuss ideas, needs, property details and budget. Think brainstorming! At this time you will provide us your property survey and site photos.
We will then take all of the information, ideas & details from your initial consultation and put together a full design for the backyard of your dreams!
We will schedule a review with you to walk you through the details and review the renderings and design, and from there collect more ideas or discuss any revisions to be made.
Justin and his team did a wonderful job on our new paver patio. They were on time and on budget. They explain everything in detail and Justin is onsite at the start of every day in case any concerns pop up. Their workers even came up with a creative solution to our steps issue while working on the job. This is experience that can only be found with people who are dedicated.
All of our installations meet the nationally recognized guidelines for interlocking concrete pavement installation. As a company we meet the minimum of 10,000 square ft. of installation experience, extensive training exam, annual portfolio review, as well as the required continuing education requirements needed to maintain certification.
The NCMA is the national trade association representing the installers, producers & suppliers of concrete masonry products, including concrete block, manufactured stone veneer, segmental retaining walls and articulating concrete block.
A quality installation is just as important as the stone itself, which is why Techo Bloc created the Techo Bloc Contractors program; a referral program that helps you find a qualified Techo Bloc contractor in your area with the knowledge and experience to design & build a quality and beautiful hardscape. Techo Pro contractors have been pre-screened to ensure that your driveway, poolside, patio, steps, walkway and other installations meet or exceed not only the industry standards but also their own.
